A unique approach that allows companies using several ECM systems to merge their engineering content

San Francisco, USA – February 28, 2011 – CTSpace, a global provider of document management and collaboration workflow applications for the construction and engineering industries, announced today that the latest release of FusionEnterprise will be able to combine engineering content from separate EMC Documentum® and Microsoft SharePoint® 2010 systems.

FusionEnterprise is a specialist Content Application for Capital Projects and Operations that works hand-in-hand with a company’s chosen ECM platform. It adds to the basic ECM repository features to support more efficient and compliant engineering projects or operations, such as comprehensive CAD support, transmittals management, and audit trails.

This latest version of FusionEnterprise extends the flexibility of organizations in selecting and deploying ECM systems and supplementary applications even further. Organizations can now deploy several ECM systems within individual or multiple sets of engineering projects and operations. They no longer have to limit their engineering operations to a single ECM system for the sake of compatibility, or resort to costly software development or data migration if they already have disparate ECM systems in place in different parts of the enterprise.
